Viewers Like Us Club

Minnesota PBS invites your organization to participate in Viewers Like Us, a media-based discussion program designed for places where adults gather, including libraries, senior centers, and community organizations. Think of it as a book club that replaces the latest bestseller with inspiring PBS documentaries, episodes, and short-form video content. Participants come together in a welcoming setting at your location to watch and discuss compelling stories from Minnesota and across the nation.
Through engaging media and guided conversations, Viewers Like Us explores topics such as arts, culture, science, nature, history, and community. Host sites receive facilitator resources, program materials, and ongoing support from Minnesota PBS at no cost. Facilitator materials are provided in both print and digital formats, and media is accessed online through provided links.

What's Involved?
A staff member or volunteer from your organization can confidently facilitate each session using the provided guide—no prior facilitation experience is required. Each session lasts approximately 1–2.5 hours.
During the 2026–2027 program year, host sites will receive four themed kit deliveries in the mail arriving in September, November, January, and March. Across those deliveries, organizations will receive eight curated PBS media selections with captions, facilitator guides, discussion materials, supporting resources, and access to online media links.
