Twin Cities PBS is proud to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Trustees: Travis Engelhaupt, Director of Digital Experience at Mayo Clinic, and Hoyt Hsiao, President and CEO of Shaw-Lundquist.

“These two leaders bring a wealth of expertise, community commitment and passion for innovation that aligns with Twin Cities PBS’s mission to enrich lives and strengthen communities,” said Sylvia Strobel, President and CEO of Twin Cities PBS. “Their perspectives—spanning digital experience, education and community development—will be invaluable as Twin Cities PBS continues to advance its storytelling and service to Minnesotans.”

Travis Engelhaupt has more than 25 years of experience in digital leadership across health care and higher education. In his role at Mayo Clinic, he leads digital product management and client experience for Mayo Clinic’s global reference laboratory. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic, Engelhaupt spent more than a decade at Iowa State University, where he managed design, video and technology teams, and served as a founding member of the mixed reality training laboratory at the Virtual Reality Applications Center.

Hoyt Hsiao leads Shaw-Lundquist, one of the nation’s largest minority-owned construction firms, where he continues his family’s legacy of creating opportunities for women and minorities in the building trades. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Hsiao has served the company for more than two decades, carrying forward its mission of “Building Better Lives.” Hsiao’s leadership and commitment to community impact have earned him numerous honors, including induction into the Twin Cities Business Hall of Fame, the National Association of Minority Contractors Hall of Fame and recognition as one of the Most Admired CEOs by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. He serves on several boards, including the Metropolitan Economic Development Association (MEDA), the University of Minnesota Foundation and the Children’s Theatre Company.
